March 17, 1934 &#8211; August 24, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just three months after my mother passed away, my father passed away. He was 86 years old. It was a little over a year after his wife, my step-mother passed away. This left him with aphasia and paralysis of his right arm and leg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m sure the lack of any visitors (due to the pandemic), and especially losing the daily companionship from his wife, contributed to his lack of will to continue on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He will be missed. See you again someday, Dad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was very proud of his American Indian heritage. He was well liked in the native community and he attended, and vended at, powwows throughout the northeast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Actually published Feb. 19, 2021) Rest in peace, Dad.
